AI-built app audit

Built it with AI? Let’s get it ready to grow.

Building a working product with AI tools is a real achievement, and it gets ideas in front of customers faster than ever. The next step is making sure it can grow with you. That is where a second pair of experienced eyes helps.

For founders who built with tools like Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Replit or v0, and want to take it further.

What I look at

The product you built, and the business around it.

AI tools are excellent at producing working features. Growing a company also needs a few things the tools do not decide for you. I review both sides, and build on what is already working.

Structure

How the product is organised underneath, and what to tidy up so new features stay quick and safe to add.

Data & security

Who can see what, how customer data is protected, and what to tighten before you have more users.

Growth & reliability

What happens at ten or a hundred times today’s users, and how to get there without surprises.

Running costs

AI, hosting and tool costs as you grow, and how to keep them below what customers pay.

Market & positioning

Who the product is for, how it stands out from alternatives, and how to test that customers will pay.

Next steps

A short, prioritised plan: what to do this month, what can wait, and when to bring in help.

What you get

A clear, friendly plan you can act on.

Written in plain language, with what is already strong called out alongside what to strengthen next.

Questions

AI-built apps, explained.

I built my product myself with Lovable. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Getting a working product in front of users is the hardest part, and you have done it. The review is about making sure it is ready for the next stage, not about how it was made.

Will I need to rebuild everything?

Usually not. Most products need a few targeted improvements rather than a rebuild. If a bigger change makes sense, I will explain why and what it would cost, so you can decide.

Which tools do you review?

Products built with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Replit, v0 and similar tools, as well as code written with AI assistants in general.

Why do you look at the market as well as the code?

Because a well-built product still needs customers who will pay for it. Looking at both means the technical advice points towards revenue, not just tidier code.

Can you help after the review?

Yes, if you want it. Some founders continue with mentoring, some bring me in as a fractional CTO, and some simply take the plan and run with it.
