Tech audits and due diligence that tell you what really matters.
An independent look at what you really have: code, architecture, team, security and costs. You get a clear verdict, what to fix first, and what it will cost. Not fifty findings, but the few that change the decision.
One audit method, shaped to your question.

Before you invest, understand the technology.
Technical due diligence that answers the question the investment committee is really asking: does this technology support the thesis, and at what cost? I have sat on both sides of the deal, as the CTO being examined and as the advisor to investors.

Tech audits, explained.
What is a tech audit?
A structured, independent review of your technology: the code, the architecture, the team, security and costs. The goal is a clear picture of where you stand and a prioritised plan for what to do next.
What is the difference between a tech audit and technical due diligence?
A tech audit is written for the people running the company, to help them improve it. Technical due diligence is written for investors or acquirers, to show whether the technology supports the investment case. The method is similar; the questions and the report are different.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the product and the question you need answered. We agree a scope and timeline on the intro call, and I keep it as short as the decision allows.
Do you need access to our code?
Usually, yes, along with conversations with the people who build and run the product. Everything is handled confidentially, and I am happy to sign an NDA before we start.
Will you try to sell us a rebuild afterwards?
No. I have no development team to keep busy. If you need help afterwards, it is leadership, advice or hiring, never a build contract.

Have a technology decision worth discussing?
Every engagement is scoped and priced to the case. A 15-minute intro call is the quickest way to find out what yours needs, and whether deeper work is worth it.
